TV ratings: ‘Survivor,’ CBS roll to Thursday win

NBC got decent ratings from a “Saturday Night Live” documentary on Thursday, and “Bones” pulled its usual solid numbers for FOX, but neither show could move CBS from the top spot.

The Eye led the night’s Nielsens with 12.2 million viewers and a 7.5 rating/13 share in households, beating FOX (8.2 million, 5.1/9) by a healthy amount. NBC took third with 5.7 million viewers and a 3.7/7. ABC (4.5 million, 3.1/5) came in third, beating out The CW’s 2.7 million viewers and 1.6/3.

The adults 18-49 race was closer, but CBS still prevailed with a 3.1 rating. FOX’s 2.6 was good for second, while NBC finished third at 2.4. ABC and The CW tied for fourth at 1.3.

Thursday hour by hour:

8 p.m.

CBS: “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” (12.1 million viewers 7.1/12 households)
FOX: “Bones” (9.7 million, 6.2/11)
ABC: “FlashForward” (5 million, 3.4/6)
NBC: “The Office” reruns – two episodes (3.8 million, 2.6/5)
The CW: “The Vampire Diaries” (3 million, 1.8/3)
