TV Ratings: CBS still tops, ‘Deep End’ debuts so-so Thursday

Once again, “Grey’s Anatomy” snagged the best demographic numbers for the night, but “The Mentalist” was back on top with total viewers, taking the crown back from “CSI.” ABC’s new legal dramedy “The Deep End” had a lukewarm debut and was the weakest link in both ratings and demo in the ABC lineup.

CBS led Thursday with 11.97 million viewers and a 7.5 rating/12 share in households, a slight dip from the previous week. Second place went to ABC with 9.8 million and a 6.5/10, followed by FOx (9.4 million, 5.6/9), NBC (5.1 million, 3.2/5) and The CW (3.2 million, 2.0/3).

ABC took the adults 18-49 title however with a 3.4 rating. FOX was next with a 3.1. CBS had a 2.8, NBC, 2.2, and The CW, 1.4.

FOX:
“Bones” (11.9 million viewers, 7.2/11 households)
CBS: “The Big Bang Theory” reruns (7.2 million, 4.5/7)
ABC: “The Deep End” series premiere (7.1 million, 4.7/7)
