Jay Leno on ‘Oprah’: I haven’t talked to Conan

Jay Leno will offer up his perspective on NBC’s late-night debacle on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” Thursday — and judging by a snippet of the interview, he didn’t walk away completely unscathed.
In the interview, Winfrey asks Leno if he thought any of the things Conan O’Brien — the former “Tonight Show” host whose ouster last week paved the way for Leno to return to late-night — said about him in the past couple weeks was “hurtful.”
“No. They were jokes. And that’s OK. … It’s what we do, you know?” Leno says in the clip. “You can’t — it’s like being a fighter and say when you got punched in the head, did it hurt? Well, yeah. But you’re a fight
