Jennifer Lopez is taking her Louboutins to the movies.
The starlet is negotiations to star in the remake of the ’80s romantic comedy “Overboard,” which had originally starred Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Overbrook-produced film would revolve around a wealthy snob (Lopez) who falls off her yacht and wakes up in a hospital with amnesia. A carpenter who worked for her before takes advantage, telling her she’s his wife, and so she goes to his rundown home to care for him and his many sons. Along the way, the truth comes out and romance develops.
J.Lo already has another romantic comedy coming up, “The Back-up Plan,” which hits theaters April 23.
In other movie casting news, Jamie Foxx is in talk
