At long last, HBO has officially confirmed that season three of “True Blood” will premiere Sunday, June 13 at 9 p.m. ET. Though “True Blood” debuted to less-than-impressive ratings in September of 2008, it has steadily grown into HBO’s most-watched series since “The Sopranos” ended its run.
The third installment of the hit series brings a host of new characters to Bon Temps, including werewolves, a hospital orderly, and yes … new vampires. New cast members include Joe Manganiello (“How I Met Your Mother”), Brit Morgan (“The Middleman”) and Kevin Alejandro (“Southland”).
If you’re feeling bloodthirsty and June is too far away, whet your appetite with this fresh sneak peek of Season Three!
