Barrowman for ‘Glee?’ Maybe

John Barrowman, a star of British television shows Doctor Who and Torchwood, recently made the move from Scotland to the U.S., and is currently taking it by storm. The 43-year-old actor has already appeared in a multi-episode arc on Desperate Housewives, and his show Torchwood has been picked up by the American network Starz. What’s next? Well, it seems that Barrowman might be making the leap from fighting aliens to singing songs.
The actor, who has participated in several stage productions, has recently claimed that he’s discussing a part in FOX’s hit sophomore series with network execs. “I met with their casting people and I said I’d love to be in it,” Barrowman British celebrity magazine Now. “The ball’s in their court, though.”‘
Barrowman had previously made claims of being in talks for a role in March, though this was denied by Glee’s executive producer Ian Brennan, says Digital Spy.
