Ex-”Firefly” star and Joss Whedon regular Alan Tudyk has signed on to NBC’s remake of “The Rockford Files.”
Tudyk, who had recurring roles on Whedon’s FOX series “Dollhouse” and ABC’s “V” earlier this season, will star opposite Dermot Mulroney in the pilot. He’ll play Dennis Becker, an LAPD detective who gets along with private eye Rockford — which makes him a rarity on the force, according to <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr
