Olympian Sven Kramer was none too happy with a local NBC reporter asking him to identify himself in their interview.
On the heels of Netherlands speedskater Sven Kramer taking the gold medal in the men’s 5000m, a local NBC reporter says to Kramer, “I need you to say your name, your country and what you just won here.”
Kramer’s response? “Are you stupid? Hell no, I’m not gonna do that.”
On the one hand, the NBC reporter can be heard in the background saying, “For tape identification” but on the other hand… the dude just won a gold medal and, according to Fourth Place Medal, Sven Kramer is arguably the most recognizable athlete in his home country.
